	geographic position			Jinzhou, located in the Liaodong Peninsula, is west to Bohai Sea, east to Huanghai Sea, and north to Pu Landian City. It adjoins to the main urban area of Dalian in the south. It is close to Dalian Economic & Technology Development Zone, Dalian Free Trade Zone and Golden Pebble Beach Holiday Resort. The old Jinzhou Town which has a long history and profound culture was built in Jin dynasty. Covering an area of 1074.6 sq km with the coastline as long as 161 km, Jinzhou is the biggest administrative district in Dalian City. Dalian Jinzhou Economic Development Zone, located in the west of Jinzhou and near the Jinzhou Bay, is the only place one must take to Dalian City. Network of communication line is concentrated, such as Ha-Da Railway, Ha-da Expressway, Shen-da Expressway, Dan-da Expressway, Jin-cheng Railway, No.1 and No.2 roads reaching the Da Yao Bay which is on building recently and Ha-da swift and special railway line is going to be built. Our zone is 35 km to the Dalian Harbor, 20 km to the Dayao Bay Harbor and 20 km to the Dalian International Airport. The new international airport which is on programming to build is just next to our zone. We have a superior geographic location and a convenient transportation. Dalian Jinzhou Economic Development Zone used to be a municipal development zone approved by Dalian municipal people's government in June of 1992, which has been promoted to be at the provincial level in October of 2002. In December of 2005, our zone is retained to be a provincial development zone approved by the State Council. Dalian Jinzhou Economic Development Zone, whose programming area is 8.45sq km, is divided into two parts—the North Part and the South Part. The South Part which covers the area of 4.11 sq km is almost completed; the first stage of the North Part has been completed, the area of 0.92 sq km is being developing and the other 0.125 sq km is about to be developed and built. In order to take the lead in realizing the over-all rejuvenating of the Northeast old industrial base, promoting to build the coastal economic belt of “Five Spot and One Belt” and accelerating the development of the regional economy of Jinzhou, in the Eleventh Fifth-year Plan, Dalian City makes a renew program for the North Part of Dalian Jinzhou Economic Development Zone which is been increased by 20 sq km of programming area, thus the area of the North Part is up to 25 sq km. There are 5 functional parks in Dalian Jinzhou Economic Development Zone, namely Motor & Electronic Park, Equipment & Manufacturing Complementary Park, Garments & Accessories Park, Equipment & Manufacturing Park and Oriental Sports Resort Park. Dalian Alpines Electronics and Dalian ALPS Electronics are two well-known enterprises in the Motor & Electronic Park. Electronic industry Groups is composed of many complementary enterprises, such as, Jin Da Electronics, Wan Gang Electronics, Da Xian Special Equipments, Fu Tian Precision Machineries, Ju Zheng Prower Production, Welly Hydraulic Machineries, Korem Refrigeration and Tong Tai Motor Parts, Dalian Jillate Hawk Silencer, Tian Yuan Electronic Machineries, Guang Ji Metal Productions and Xiang He Fire-Fighting Equipments which are being built right now. Equipment & Manufacturing Complementary Park which complement for automobiles, ships and boats and machinery is composed of machinery processing enterprises, such as, Dalian Daxel Metal Products, Dalian Fukutomo Precision Machinery, Hua Du Machinery, Heng Cheng Metal Products, Run Hong Machinery etc. At the end of the Eleventh Five-year Plan, Garments & Accessories Park which is composed of some exporting enterprises, such as, Dalian Sen Te, Ya Baobao and Huan Qi etc will become an important distribution place for Dalian Garments Industry. At present, we are negotiating with many large-scale enterprises of equipment & manufacturing about their investment in the Equipment & Manufacturing Park. Oriental Sports Resort Park, which majors in sports and entertainments, water and land sports projects are being built, There are 330 all kinds of enterprises in Jinzhou Economic Development Zone, including 239 industrial enterprises, 92 foreign-invested enterprises, 110 private enterprises and there are 22,000 work stuffs. In 2006, gross value of industrial output is about to be 90 billion RMB, tax revenue is about to be 0.28 billion RMB, of which is turned over to the state is 0.13 billion RMB, fiscal revenue is 4.6 million RMB and earning foreign exchange through export is 0.66 billion US dollar. The main economic indexes of Jinzhou Economic Development Zone are on the top of the 25 provincial economic development zones. Our Zone which has played a guiding role in the development of industrial economy in Jinzhou is awarded “the fastest developing Economic Zone” and “Advanced Economic Zone” year-on-year. The major products of our zone are automobile stereo, automobile navigation, electronic potential machines, automobile appliances, automobile silencers, containers, electronic instruments, polishing machines, agricultural chemical, best brands of garments etc. These products, part of which covers 30% of the global marketplace, are not only sold in domestic but also exported to some countries and districts, such as Japan, Korea, Singapore, Europe and America. Dalian Alpines Electronics CO., LTD and Dalian ALPS Electronics CO., LTD are among the Chinese 500 most powerful foreign invested enterprises and Dalian 50 most paying-tax enterprises. Jinzhou Economic Development Zone offer a comprehensive service for the enterprises which have invested in our zone, including establishing projects, registration in Industry & Commerce Bureau, drawing up the land and examining the environment situation of projects, reporting and approving construction lands, taxation registration, construction and producing.
